Voice Changer
Re-voice a spoken recording in the voice of any sample clip. Words, timing, and emotion stay; only the voice changes.
Voice Changer: Any Speech in Any Voice
The Voice Changer takes a spoken recording and a short clip of another voice, and returns the same performance in that voice. Every word, pause, and inflection stays where you put it; only the voice changes. No voice library, no ids: the sample you upload is the target.
It runs on ElevenLabs. The sample becomes a voice for the length of the run, the recording is converted into it, and the voice is removed again afterwards. It is a speech tool; for singing, use the Singing Voice Changer, which keeps the melody and matches the pitch range.
What can you do with it?
- Re-voice a scratch track you recorded yourself into the voice the final cut needs
- Give a character a voice by acting the line, then converting it into a sample of the character
- Match a voiceover to a brand voice from one clean sample, without a new session
- Try a line in several voices by swapping the sample
How to use it
- Upload your recording. Speech, audio only (mp3, wav, flac, m4a, ogg), up to 5 minutes. Split longer sessions first.
- Upload a voice sample. 10 seconds to 2 minutes of the target voice, one speaker, no music behind it. About a minute gives the best match. Record it directly; a clip lifted from a published video may be refused.
- Run it. Most clips finish in about a minute.
- Get your track. One labeled audio output in the new voice.
Tips
- The sample decides the result. A clean, dry, single-speaker clip gives a faithful voice; a noisy or mixed clip gives a muddy one.
- Act the line the way you want it delivered. Pace, emphasis, and emotion come from your performance, not the sample.
- Only use voices you have the right to use. Your own, a collaborator’s with their consent, or a licensed one. ElevenLabs screens every cloned voice and refuses some; if a sample is refused, record a fresh one directly rather than re-uploading the same clip.
- Record clean. If either clip is noisy, run it through the Voice Isolator first, or switch on “Remove background noise” in the settings.
