Crystal Video Upscaler: Enlarge Video up to 5K with One Slider
Enlarge any video up to 4x its original resolution, all the way to 5K output. Upload a clip, set the scale factor, and get back a sharper version with the same motion and timing.
Crystal keeps things simple: one input, one slider. No model zoo, no tuning matrix. It’s the quickest way to take a clip up a resolution tier.
What can you do with it?
- Upscale AI-generated video. Most video models output 720p or lower. Bring a generation to 1080p or 4K before publishing.
- Deliver in 4K. Shot or edited in 1080p and the client wants 4K? Upscale the export and ship it.
- Sharpen zoomed or cropped shots. Punch in on footage, then upscale the crop back to delivery resolution.
- Upgrade older clips. Bring archive or phone footage up to modern display resolution.
How to use it
- Upload your video. MP4, MOV, WebM, any common format.
- Set the scale factor. 1x to 4x, with 2x as the default. The output tops out at 5K, so a 1080p clip can go up to about 2.5x.
- Run it. Longer clips take longer, so expect a short wait.
- Download the result, or send it into your next step right here.
Tips
- 2x is the workhorse. 720p becomes 1440p, 1080p becomes 4K-adjacent. Detail stays believable.
- Mind the 5K ceiling. The scale factor times your input height has to stay under 5K; from 1080p that means roughly 2.5x, from 720p the full 4x fits.
- Trim first. Every frame gets processed, so cutting the clip down to what you need saves time and money.
- Chain it after generation. Generate video at native resolution, then upscale here for the final export.
