Flux 3 Max
Sharp, prompt-obedient AI video from text, images or keyframes. 5 to 20 seconds with native sound.
FLUX 3 Max: AI Video That Follows Your Prompt, Fast
FLUX 3 Max is the sharpest, most obedient version of Black Forest Labs’ FLUX 3 video model, and you can use it on Mitte. It is tuned to do what you actually wrote: the actions in the order you describe them, the camera move you asked for, the light and mood you set. And it is quick. A 10-second clip comes back in about the time it takes to watch it.
Every video has sound built in: ambience, sound effects and spoken dialogue, generated together with the picture so they land on the right moment. Start from a prompt, bring a still image to life, or pin your own images to exact moments and let FLUX 3 Max fill in the motion between them.
What can you do with it?
- Turn a script into a shot. Describe what happens, beat by beat, and get a clip where it happens that way: the walk, the turn, the look, the line of dialogue.
- Bring an image to life. Your picture becomes the first frame and the scene moves from there. Add an ending image and the video travels from one to the other.
- Storyboard with keyframes. Pin up to 10 images to exact moments in the clip. FLUX 3 Max animates the story between them, so you control every beat.
- Direct the camera. Ask for a slow push-in, a handheld follow, an orbit or a crane up, and get that move.
- Write the soundtrack in. Dialogue in quotes, the rain on the window, the crowd in the background. The sound is made with the picture, not added after.
- Iterate fast. Results come back quickly, so you can try five versions of an idea in the time other models take to make one.
How to use it
- Pick a mode. Text to Video, First / Last Frame, or Keyframes.
- Add your images. A starting image, a start and end pair, or a set of keyframes. Nothing at all for Text to Video.
- Write the shot. What happens in order, how the camera moves, the light, and what you hear. Put spoken lines in quotes.
- Set length, shape and quality. 5 to 20 seconds, seven aspect ratios from cinematic 21:9 to vertical 9:16, at 720p or 1080p.
- Generate. Download your MP4, share it, or keep building on it in Mitte.
What you get
One MP4 video per run, 5 to 20 seconds long, at 720p or 1080p, with native audio unless you switch it off. When you start from an image, the video keeps its shape.
Tips
- Write actions as a sequence. “She opens the door, steps into the rain, looks up and smiles” beats “a woman in the rain”. FLUX 3 Max follows the order you give.
- Name the camera move. Slow push-in, handheld follow, static wide, orbit. One clear move per shot works best.
- Describe the light and the atmosphere. Golden hour, neon at night, overcast and cold. It sets the whole look of the clip.
- Give dialogue a speaker. “The old man says: ‘You came back.’” Quoted lines with a named speaker come out clean and in sync.
- Use keyframes for story beats. Three or four images at key moments give you a storyboard the model brings to life, far more control than a prompt alone.
- Draft at 720p, finish at 1080p. Find the version you like, then rerun it in full quality.
- Switch reasoning to Low for speed. High gives the closest match to your prompt; Low is faster when you are sketching ideas.
- Want another take? Run it again, or set a new seed in the settings.
