AI Stem Splitter — Separate Any Song into Vocals, Instrumental, and Instruments
The Stem Splitter takes any song and splits it into separate tracks: vocals, bass, drums, and the rest of the instrumental — with an optional 6-stem mode that also pulls out guitar and piano. Upload an audio file, and each stem comes back as its own audio track you can play, download, or reuse.
What can you do with it?
- Make an instrumental / karaoke version — remove the vocals from any song and keep everything else

How to use it
- Upload your song. Any common audio format works — mp3, wav, flac, m4a.
- Run it. The model listens to the full mix and separates it into stems. A typical song takes under a minute.
- Get your stems. Each one arrives as a separate, labeled audio track: vocals, bass, drums, guitar, piano, and other (the rest of the instrumental). Download the ones you need or use them right here in your next step.
By default the 6-stem model runs. Splitting into fewer stems? The 4-stem models (vocals, bass, drums, other) are slightly cleaner on dense mixes — the fine-tuned variant trades ~4x the processing time for the best quality.
What you get
- Vocals — the isolated singing, ready for acapellas and remixes
- Bass — the bassline on its own
- Drums — the full drum and percussion track
- Guitar and Piano — separated in 6-stem mode
- Other — everything else: synths, strings, the remaining instrumental
Stems come out as mp3 by default, with wav and flac available for lossless work. Sum the stems back together and you get the original mix.
Tips
- Use the highest-quality source you have. Separation quality follows input quality — a 320kbps mp3 or lossless file beats a low-bitrate rip.
- Vocals, drums, and bass separate cleanest. Guitar comes out well; piano is the hardest source and can carry artifacts on busy mixes.
- For an instrumental, take everything except the vocals stem. For an acapella, take only the vocals.
