Describe the pixel font you want and get back an installable TTF font file, not just a picture of some text. Every letter is built on a crisp square pixel grid in the chunky style of block-building games, so you can type with it in Photoshop, Canva, Figma, Word, a game engine, or on your website.

How to make a pixel font
- Describe the style. For example: “bold and chunky, rounded pixels, with a drop shadow” or “thin, tall, and condensed, like an old arcade scoreboard.” To name the font, say “call it Cobble.”
- Add an example (optional). Upload an image of pixel lettering whose construction you want the font to follow.
- Generate. A full character sheet is drawn and traced into a font file.
- Download the TTF and install it like any other font.

Tips
- Say what makes it different. “Two-pixel strokes,” “a one-pixel shadow down and to the right,” “extra wide letters” give you much more control than “cool pixel font.”
- Keep pixel sizes on the grid. Pixel fonts look sharpest at sizes that are whole multiples of their pixel size, e.g. 8, 16, 24, or 32 pt.
- Turn off smoothing. In image editors, use nearest-neighbour scaling so the pixels stay crisp.
- Make a family. Run the same description with “bold” or “italic” added to build matching weights.
FAQ
Is this a Minecraft font download?
It makes original fonts in the same blocky pixel style as Minecraft’s text, not a copy of the game’s font. That means you get a new font every time, with a name of its own, that’s yours to use in your projects.
What file format do I get?
A TrueType font (.ttf), which installs on Windows, macOS, and Linux and works in almost every design app. It can also be converted to WOFF2 for websites.
How is this different from a pixel text generator?
Most pixel font generators give you an image of your text. This gives you the font itself, so you can type anything with it, at any size, in any app.
Can I copy a pixel font from an image?
You can upload an example, and the new font follows its pixel construction. Don’t use it to copy a commercial font you don’t have rights to.
Does it support accented letters?
Yes, Turkish and German accented letters and ß are included, along with the full basic Latin alphabet, digits, and punctuation.
