Marked Safe Meme Generator
Make a "Marked Safe From ... Today" meme in one go. Type what you survived and it gets written on the badge, in the badge's own font. Change "Today" to any time you like, or drop in a picture of the thing you escaped. No watermark.
Marked Safe meme generator
The blue flag, the white card, “Marked Safe From … Today”. It started as Facebook’s safety check and became the way the internet announces it survived a Monday meeting.
This generator writes your ordeal on the standard Marked Safe meme template, in the same grey lettering as the printed words, so the card reads as one line. No cropping, no font matching, no watermark.
How to make a Marked Safe meme
- Safe from. Type what you survived. “The Monday meeting.” “Replying all.” “My family’s group chat.”
- When. Leave it and the card says “Today”. Type “this weekend”, “for now” or “until Monday” to change it.
- Generate. The words land on the card in its own grey lettering and you get the finished badge.
Type nothing and the generator picks something everyone dodged this week.
How to word it
The card already says “Marked Safe From” and “Today”, so your text is only the thing in between.
- Make it a thing, not a sentence: “The Gym”, not “I didn’t go to the gym”.
- Small is funnier. The badge was built for floods and earthquakes; using it for a dead phone battery is the joke.
- Any length works. Long ones wrap onto a second line.
- Typed the whole line, “marked safe from the gym today”? That works too. The generator keeps your words and drops the parts already on the card.
Using a picture
Attach up to four images. Each one gets a tag, @image1, @image2 and so on, in the order you added them. Type the tag in the “Safe from” box and that picture sits on the card where the words would go.
- “@image1” on its own: the picture fills the gap.
- “@image1 the group chat”: the picture with the words right under it.
- A screenshot of the 47-message thread, the logo of the app that just raised its price, a photo of the leftovers: anything square-ish reads best.

About the template
The card is a parody of Facebook’s Safety Check “marked safe” post, which people turned into the marked safe meme around 2017. This is the standard Marked Safe From meme template, so your result looks like the ones in your feed, with your ordeal on it.
