How to try on a hairstyle
- Your photo. Upload a clear photo of yourself with your face forward and your current hair visible. A phone selfie in daylight is perfect.
- Hairstyle. Pick from the list: bob, long bob, pixie, curtain bangs, long layers, beach waves, curly, sleek straight, wolf cut, high ponytail, box braids, afro, buzz cut, textured crop, side part fade, slicked back, man bun, mullet or bald. Choose “Describe it” and type your own.
- Color. Keep your own color or try blonde, platinum, light or dark brown, black, auburn, copper, silver, pastel pink or blue.

- Show your current hairline. Hats, hoods and hair covering the forehead leave the hairline to chance.
- Be specific in the notes. “Chin-length, blunt, middle part” beats “shorter”. Name the length, the part and the finish.
