FAQ
How is this different from AI background removal or the Background Generator? This tool doesn’t guess where the subject is — it follows the actual background color in from the edges of the photo. That makes it exact on flat, studio-style backgrounds, but it won’t work on a busy real-world photo. For that, use Background Generator or Background Changer instead.
Will it eat parts of my subject that match the background color? No, as long as they don’t touch the edge of the photo — only the region connected to the border gets replaced.
Does it work on photos with a slight gradient or vignette? Usually. Raise the tolerance setting so the drift still counts as background.
What if my photo doesn’t have a flat background? The tool will tell you it can’t find one rather than guessing — reach for Background Generator or Background Changer for busy, real-world photos.
