AI Anime Video Generator

Turn text into stylized anime film scenes, powered by Seedance 2.0.

The AI Anime preset is a text-to-video and image-to-video generator that turns a written prompt into a stylized anime scene: expressive characters, vibrant color, dynamic camera moves and that hand-drawn Japanese animation feel. It runs on Seedance 2.0, so you can create anime-style clips for storytelling, trailers, music videos and social content without drawing a single frame.

This page covers how the preset works, the aspect ratios you can pick, and a few worked examples.

How it works

An AI anime generator turns written descriptions into animated scenes in the Japanese anime style. Instead of storyboarding, drawing and in-betweening by hand, you describe the character, the setting and the action, and Seedance renders a finished shot with bold linework, saturated color, emotive expressions and kinetic, cinematic motion.

  1. Describe the character, scene and action in plain language.
  2. Pick your aspect ratio (widescreen for cinematic, vertical for social).
  3. Generate. Seedance renders the prompt as a stylized anime clip.
  4. Refine (optional). Use Edit by prompt to change the character, background, lighting or camera move without re-prompting from scratch.

Want to compare looks before you commit? You can test the same prompt across other models in the video model collection.

Choose your aspect ratio

Start from an image (image-to-video)

You can add first image abd last image with simple prompt, a character design or a key frame, and the preset animates it into an anime clip (image-to-video). This is the most reliable way to keep a specific character or composition consistent before adding motion.

What makes an anime scene work

Four things separate a convincing anime clip from a generic one.

Seedance 2.0 keeps motion coherent across frames, so the linework and color stay consistent with no flicker or warping.

Examples

Hero moment

A young swordswoman with silver hair and a flowing red cloak stands on a neon-lit Tokyo rooftop at night as rain falls.

Action beat

A spiky-haired fighter dashes across a crumbling battlefield and swings a glowing blade.

Mood piece

A girl in a school uniform walks alone down a quiet street at golden hour, cherry blossoms drifting past.

Editing and extending a clip

Once a clip is generated, you can keep working on it in the editor without starting over:

The Edit menu adds Trim, Change speed, Re-color, Edit audio, Edit by prompt and Upscale. Edit by prompt is the key one: describe a change in plain language (character, background, lighting, camera move) and it reworks the scene for you.
